Job Overview: Mechanic Network Coordinator

We’re seeking a proactive, organized, people-first coordinator to own our mechanic network end to end — from first contact in our online communities to a fully verified mechanic ready to take jobs. You’ll run our regional Facebook communities, turn them into a steady stream of qualified mechanic recruits, and guide each mechanic through joining, verification, and onboarding. We train you on our in-house dashboard and tools, so your time goes to people, not busywork.

What You’ll Do

  • Run the communities — moderate our Mobile Mechanics groups in Texas, Florida, and Massachusetts: approve genuine posts, hold solicitations, clear spam, and vet join requests so real local members get in and bots stay out. Keep the groups active with a steady posting cadence.
  • Generate and qualify leads — identify working mobile mechanics surfaced by the communities and capture them as recruiting leads; flag customer service requests and route them to the right team.
  • Recruit and verify — reach out to mechanic leads, walk them through joining Rapid Wrench, and collect the essentials before approval: signed contract, proof of insurance, and photo proof of their work.
  • Onboard and activate — bring verified mechanics into our systems and Discord, and get each one fully set up and job-ready so they can start accepting work.

What You Bring

  • Strong written communication and an organized, people-first approach.
  • Comfort with social media and online community management (Facebook Groups especially).
  • Reliability and sound judgment moderating content and vetting people.
  • Basic comfort learning web tools and browser extensions — no coding required.
  • Self-directed — you own outcomes in a remote role.

Bonus Points

  • Experience in recruiting, onboarding, community management, or customer success.
  • Familiarity with the automotive, roadside, or mobile-mechanic world.
  • Experience with Discord, CRMs, or dispatch tools.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Yes. This role is 100% remote and can be performed from anywhere as long as you have a stable internet connection and can work U.S. Central Time hours.

You must be available during core U.S. Central Time hours, typically 8AM – 6PM CST. Some evening or weekend availability may be required during peak activity or urgent dispatch needs.

Prior experience is strongly preferred. You should understand how to approve members, moderate content, grow engagement, and create posts that build an active community.

Not required, but a basic understanding of automotive services is a plus. Training will be provided where needed.

Mostly mechanics — not customers. You’ll reach out to prospective mechanics from our communities, answer their questions, and guide them through joining and onboarding. Occasional calls or messages with mechanic candidates are part of the role.

You’ll work with:

  • Facebook Groups & Business Manager
  • Our in-house recruiting dashboard (training provided)
  • Discord
  • Google Voice or WhatsApp Business
  • Canva or similar design tools

No advanced technical skills are required — just comfort with common online platforms.

When a mechanic shows interest, you will:

  • Capture them as a recruiting lead in our dashboard.
  • Reach out and introduce Rapid Wrench.
  • Collect their signed contract, proof of insurance, and photos of their work.
  • Onboard them into our systems and Discord.
  • Mark them job-ready so they can start accepting work.

Training will be provided on our exact workflow and tools.

You will manage three (3) state-based Facebook groups (Texas, Florida, and Massachusetts) used for mechanic recruitment and community engagement.

Nothing overly complex — mainly:

  • Simple posts

  • Polls

  • Mechanic spotlights

  • Customer success stories

  • Basic graphics via Canva

We prioritize engagement, clarity, and consistency over high-end design.

This is an independent contractor (1099) role, performed 100% remotely.

A stable connection of at least 20 Mbps is recommended, with a quiet workspace for calls and group management.

Rapid Wrench is hiring immediately. Candidates who complete the form and pass the interview stage can start as soon as onboarding is complete.
